The Center for Women & Business at Bentley University is the source of practical, effective solutions to the challenges posed by a multi-cultural, multigenerational workplace in which women comprise an increasingly large segment. We offer our business partners a combination of innovative research and real world insight that fosters the development of an inclusive work environment in which women are supported, retained and advanced. We are educating and preparing current and future business leaders, both men and women, to succeed in a world in which diversity and inclusion are business imperatives.
Providing resources and opportunities for all students to explore the range of roles they may play in a dynamic global economy, with special attention on helping female students envision and realize their potential for leadership.
Engaging business and academic leaders in projects that foster both intellectual inquiry and practical insight, seeking to transform the organizational landscape to support, encourage, and maintain collaborative leadership.
Developing avenues for the global business community to fully value and apply the capabilities of women as well as men, via robust discourse and effective programs both within and outside the university. The center will seek to influence policy that reflects those findings, in both the public and private sectors.
The Center for Women and Business is a critical part of the strategic vision at Bentley University. It embodies our commitment to promote ethical, socially responsible leadership on the global stage throughout the learning continuum – from college student to young professional to CEO and beyond.
